Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
1. Agreement
Draft is operated by Kepler Insights LLC (“Draft”, “we”). These terms govern your use of Draft. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use Draft on behalf of an organisation, you agree on its behalf.
2. What Draft is
Draft is a system of record and workflow tool for governed change-control on a project: bounded work with a scope and a price, run inside a workspace that stands for the property or boat the work is done on. Draft is not a party to any contract between an owner, a builder, a yard, a manager or a contractor, and it does not price, approve, decide or guarantee any outcome.
Every entry that becomes a fact of record is confirmed by, and attributed to, a person. Draft AI drafts and structures what people write, and may read a saved note and propose an action; it never prices, approves, attributes, or predicts. A person applies what it proposes, and nothing enters the record otherwise.
3. Your data and the record
The account that holds a workspace owns its record. Draft acts as custodian and processor, holding a licence to host and process the record, and to use de-identified, aggregated data to improve the product. Draft does not own individual records.
You may export your record at any time, free of charge, including after you cancel. Draft does not move a workspace between accounts; if a property or boat changes hands, the export is how the record travels with it.
4. Contractor guests
Contractors access only their own job and never see project finances or other contractors’ work. By continuing past the contractor invitation, a contractor represents they have the right to upload what they upload and grants the workspace’s team a licence to the materials they provide. Attendance check-in records a contractor’s name, company, check-in and check-out times, and a location status, visible to the workspace’s team.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access data you are not authorised to, or upload unlawful content or content you have no right to share.
6. Fees and billing
Draft is one subscription per account: $89 a month, month to month, with unlimited workspaces and projects, up to 20 invited people, and free contractor guests. An active subscription is required to create: opening projects, adding jobs and maintenance items, raising and deciding changes, inviting people, and minting an attendance code. Naming a workspace, reading the record, exporting it, and logging work against a maintenance item are never gated. You may cancel at any time and the subscription runs to the end of the paid month. Payment is processed by Stripe; Draft never holds your card details.
If a payment fails we provide notice and a grace window (30 days’ notice, then 60 days’ grace) before anything further happens. Your record remains readable and exportable throughout, including after cancellation, and is never silently deleted.
7. Liability
Draft is provided on an “as is” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Draft’s aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and Draft is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and any dispute is brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida. Draft is offered for use outside the EU; the service is not currently offered to EU-based users.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified. Questions about these terms: [email protected].
